"Anubis"
He was invented a long long time ago in the ancient egypt.
How gods and mythologies occured and evolved over time fascinates me a lot.
And how some people still believes in some of them. I love it.
Anubis was an egyptian god of death.
He was the protector of graves as early as the First Dynasty (c.3100 - c. 2890 BC). Anubis was often depicted as guiding individuals across the threshold from the world of the living to the afterlife.
He is holding two symbols. The shepherd's crook stood for kingship. And the ankh (latin for cross with a handle) with the meaning "life".
This design was commissioned by "The dreaming dragon.
